01

Guiding you through the process

The basic Diploma course in General Nursing and Midwifery is geared to the health needs of individuals, families, communities and the country at large. It prepares nurses to function as efficient members of the health team, beginning with the competencies required for first-level positions in every kind of health-care setting.

Students develop the ability to cooperate and coordinate with the health team in disease prevention, health promotion and rehabilitation. The programme supports personal and professional development, forms a base for further education and specialisation, and prepares nurses to keep pace with clinical and technological advances.
